Thanks for checking out my page and blog today. I don't really reward myself for losing the weight, but I do have to buy new clothes as I shrink in size. I find that the ability to climb both sets of stairs into my apartment without huffing and puffing at the last 4 steps is a great reward. Being able to play with the kids for longer period of time is a great reward. Taking walks with my family is a great reward. Seeing the little things that are easier to do are great rewards!
I find that putting what I'm going to eat in it's bowl/plate/cup/hand and putting the bag away helps me to keep the portions in control. Once I stick the bag in my lap, then I'm in trouble, especially when it's chocolate, but not limited to sweets. By the time I have to get back up for that second serving, I'm usually satisfied with what I served myself the first time.
Being able to eat what I will continue to eat for the rest of my life helps too. I'm satisfied with a half a pound if it goes is helpful for me right now. The first 50 left me while eating 1300-1500 a day (while tracking every bite) and light exercise.
Start every day new and try new things frequently. Keep on Sparkin'!
