Doing It for ME!

Ok, so here I am working on my weight. Over the years and with each pregnancy my weight has crept up. Reason, it was never really an issue for me is because other than the weight I am healthy. I get a full physical every year and I donít have any health issues. I have a clothes issue. I can never find clothes I want to wear that fit me the way I want them to fitÖcorrect and decent. I know that I really could be much bigger. I think the reason I am not is because I am and have been somewhat ...
Ok, so here I am working on my weight. Over the years and with each pregnancy my weight has crept up. Reason, it was never really an issue for me is because other than the weight I am healthy. I get a full physical every year and I donít have any health issues. I have a clothes issue. I can never find clothes I want to wear that fit me the way I want them to fitÖcorrect and decent. I know that I really could be much bigger. I think the reason I am not is because I am and have been somewhat active over the years. I try to play tennis on a regular basis and from time to time I will get on the treadmill at home or work out to my exercise DVDs. I have participated in a few boot camps and aerobics classes over the years (I really love both of these activities). My newest favorite exercise is Aqua Zumba. Itís the best! What I am adding to my exercise regime is running. I am training to run a 5k (havenít done that in years) and Iím excited about it.

A lot of people talk about being emotional eaters, too bad I canít say that. IíM AN EATER! I love good food and I love to eat. I come from a family of great cooks on both sides so I AM AN EATER. I donít see a problem with that so long as itís done in moderation along with exercising. Well, for the pass 3 or 4 years I have been working on my portion control and have been relatively successful at the moderation. What I need to do is ramp up the exercise, do a better job at tracking my activities and staying consistent.

So here is to a new beginning to fit, health and happiness.
