Just call me DeeDee

I am a widow 62 years young and need to lose a whole body! I have had 2 knee replacements copd and arthritis so exercising is a challenge for me. I cannot kneel and am so out of shape that a lot of the videos I quick looked at on here are beyond me at this time. I get out of breath quickly and need slow exercises and PATIENCE to build up some endurance.

Thanks so much for your encouragement. I hope you enjoy Spark People as much as I do. I am diabetic and decided I had to get some weight off to control this disease. I also have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia so exercise is not always easy for me but necessary.
I often do the chair exercise videos because of pains in my hips or knees.

The best advice I heard at SP was 1. Take it one step at a time. 2. Use the #10 rule which is exercise for at least 10" a day and 3. Never, ever give up!
I also get a lot of inspiration from "Indy Girl" she's amazing!
