Trish's Page - Here I Go Again!
Start each new day with a commitment to do what's right – regardless of what may come your way. December 26, 2009 I've been piddling around enough with this weight. Start each new day with a commitment to do what's right – regardless of what may come your way. December 26, 2009 I've been piddling around enough with this weight. I've gained quite a bit back of what I lost back in 2007. I know what I'm doing wrong and I am going to change it beginnng right now! Some of my NEW GOALS are: 1. Stop eating things I know are not good for me. 2. Fit exercise into my day, even if it's only 10 or 15 minutes. It doesn't have to be all or nothing! 3. Rely on what I've learned from Luke about diet and exercise, and know that it all starts in my mind. This is so important for me to remember! 4. I won't feel deprived if I can't have a darn tootsie roll! 5. I won't be pressured by others to eat things I don't want or need! 6. I still want to run a 5k and hope I can find one that isn't on a Saturday morning. 7. I will limit my time online. This really cuts into my free time. 8. I will rely on my Spark friends to get me through tough times. 9. I will not feel guilty and give up when I backslide, and I know this will happen. I will move on. 10. Make it a priority to get my thyroid meds at the right dosage. 11. I will make ME my number one project starting now!

My Goals:
My goals are to get to a healthy weight and learn to live and eat healthy! I've been struggling with this lately and know what I need to do. I do have my moments when I NEED something sweet, but as long as I don't go overboard, I'll be ok. I am starting new and am ready to get moving again! One of my new goals at the new gym is to do an unassisted pull up. They have the machine and I want to be able to do it alone. I have no idea how long it will take, but I will do it!
My Program:
After 32 months of training with Luke, the best personal trainer ever, he has closed his gym. I've joined another gym and am learning how to work out on my own now. I am finding out just how much a personal trainer really did for me! Moving heavy plates, getting all my equipment set up, being a huge motivator, and very good company! I know one door has closed, and another has opened, and I'm kind of afraid to go all the way through. My friends have been telling me to remember all that Luke taught me and put it into action. I know I can do it, but I miss the atmosphere of the old gym. It's going to take awhile, but I know I can do it, it just won't be as much fun. I am going to try to get more cardio done, but will still try to lift 3 days a week. I am still interested in yoga, and will be starting classes after the 1st of the new year. I am I intrigued with kickboxing and mma, thanks to Luke. He is a pro MMA fighter and I would love to see him fight!
Personal Information:
I turned 50 on March 9th, 2008, and have gotten into pretty good shape, even though I have gained back some of the weight I lost. I can still run and lift heavy with the best of them! I was very athletic when I was younger, playing basketball & softball in school, tennis, and even football with the boys out of school! If it was considered a sport, I would try it! Seems like I spent my youth running, climbing, hiking, biking, and just playing and having fun! I finally feel like I can go out and do any of these things now! I have been married to Jack since October, 1987, 22 years. We both work for the Postal Service and are so looking forward to retirement, so we can spend our time travelling. I have one son, Jimmy, who is 26. He has a daughter, Riley, who was 5 on May 27th. She is my only grandchild so far! I WILL be in the best shape of my life in the coming months. And I STILL want an arm like the Iron Maiden icon!!
Other Information:
Love music! Love poker! Love to read! Love to travel! Love Sudoku! Love football! Love photography! And love my old Eclipse! R.I.P. :(
