I was not overweight until my forties when one day I looked in the mirror and I was shocked. I joined weight watchers and lost 35 pounds and four dress sizes in six months. Because of stress, injuries and medication I put half of it back on. In my fifties I am finding it much harder to lose weight. Now I want to get to a healthy weight and maintain.

Hey! I just noticed that you suffer from plantar fasciitis. Have you tried wearing Vibrams?

I developed PF about three years ago in the fall, and got my first pair of Vibrams for the next Mother's Day. Within 48 ours of putting them on, all pain was gone in my feet and it has never returned... helped with my balance issues, too. I've even been able to go back to wearing heals for special occasions.
