The pants that remind me. January 2013

My "hot" times. First time wearing shorts! February 2013

My heaviest. At 24 years old I felt like 34 at least. Notice the same pants. 2012 August

Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!

I have decided to regenerate my blog and add a bit of a flirty flavour to it... Since no one in the Spark really talks about sex and how our weightloss journeys affect our sex lives, I will take up that role and add a bit of spice to my blog and hopefully to the naughty minds of the readers out there... Hope you enjoy.. and don't be shy to comment..

My Goals:
"To have 4 times of workout every week. Have a planned diet, with healthy snacks and not being hungry all the time." October 2012

"Now I have 5-6 days a week of exercise, with most of them full body workouts with strength training and 1 being just cardio. I am preparing myself for 10k run in June which I would never have thought of I could do. I am strongest, fittest I have ever been and want to be even fitter. I want muscle definition and no more wobbly fats" March 2013

My Program:
"I have bought a membership to a gym, with twice a week yoga classes, once aerobics and once spinning. In addition to that I will go to walk in countryside and learn to ski." October 2012

"I learned to ski finally :) and got pretty good at it with once a week training. I ended up going to gym more than I planned starting with 3 times a week and ending up with sometimes 6 times a week. I learned about nutrition so now I have balance of carbs, fat and protein in my every meal. I coach my friends to get healthy and support each other"

Personal Information:
I am 20 something woman living in UK doing my PhD degree. I have been yo-yo dieting since my high school and there were always bad periods of the year (when I was overweight) and good periods of year (when I was normal weight) in the last 10 years. Since I started PhD I understood that I may soon end up being obese, so I dieted for a while, but gained weight back again as much as I lost it. So this time I decided it is not a way to live and I need to make myself! :) and here I am 12kg lighter, being able to do 2 hours of non-stop full body exercise, run, lift heavy, press up and do 100 crunches.

Thank you so much for you comment! My legs are one of my most challenging parts to love so thank you for the compliment. Maintenance is definitely a lot harder than weight loss but once you really get the hang of it, it just becomes life. Good luck in your journey, I wish you nothing but the best!

Aw thanks! You have great insight from your own experiences..and loved that example from Sex & the City...I actually haven't watched it because long ago I thought it would be just a gossipy/affair type show and kinda wrote it off :P ...but maybe it'll prove better than my assumptions. :D I like shows I can learn life lessons /identify w/ etc....and also get a laugh ;) Thanks for your encouragement & sharing how you've gone through anxiety, made some healthy changes for you & the rewards/benefits of it! Thanks so much! Was a good encouragement to me :) Enjoy this gorgeous day! emoticon

thanks for your comment on my blog. your experience was helpful to hear. I think I would've done that too, if it wasn't for the panic attacks that I am having...thats why my dr recommended this. And the therapist did state our goal is to elimate the panic attacks, as that is what I was desperately asking my doctor (for help in a strategy to stop the random but intense and overwhelming panic attacks--that a song, a scenario etc would trigger past memory and my body just went into it before I could do anything! Its so scary. So I'm telling myself, this is something to better my present & future self...and only allow myself a day or two to mull on a session and then keep marching on! I want to keep as much as the past in the past too! I was actually encouraged to do that, but then to deal with the panic attacks, some has to come up I guess! So I'll take a few sessions and see from there... Thanks for sharing how it was for you, and hopefully I'll be able to march happily forward too! Hope you have a lovely evening :)

Thanks for your comment on my blog.
This journey is about so much more than learning to eat right, and maintaining a healthy weight.
Have a wonderful SparkDay.
