In It for the Long Haul

I received a wake-up call today from my doctor, telling me that I am pre-diabetic. I already have a brother with diabetes and have struggled with my weight most of my life. It's time for me to take care of myself, so I can continue to be here for my kids, and someday, their kids!

Hi there! Thanks for coming by my blog. I really appreciate the advice on being pre-diabetic. I followed a gestational diabetic plan when I was pregnant with my daughter and did wonderful. It's a good idea and definitely where I'm headed! Thanks for the sweet words, too. emoticon
