A Work In Progress

The phrase "Your Body Is A Temple" always resonated with me, but it never sunk in until recently. In November 2011 I started writing down my goals and looking around for some inspiration. My Program:
I've started this so many times that I promised myself to begin with I'd only use what I had on hand to get started. Once I see some results with this (and can prove to myself that I'm not going to just give up!) I'll think about adding other games and maybe joining a gym. For now I have everything I need!



Personal Information:
34 with a zest for life. We purchased a fixer-upper house in the beginning of the year which requires a lot of our time and sweat equity (as well as money!) and we have two dogs that need a lot of exercise. We're also planning on hitting the Tough Mudder 2013 which means work-work-work!

Bah!

Most of our advanced dancers wear legwarmers. I plan to knit my own. (Added bonus to knitting: boyfriends suddenly quiet down, as their self-preservation instincts kick in when they see their beloved holding sharp pointy things.)

Have fun with the barre!

I bought the NY Ballet Company workout video a year or so back...I tried it once in college (with the same girl who built her own barre) and ended up almost in tears - so obviously that meant I had to buy it when I found it again.
:-p


I should try it sometime!

I did ballet for awhile last year, but scheduling difficulties made me switch over to Irish twice a week instead of Irish and ballet back-to-back.
Haven't really regretted it, but I did like how ballet helped my Irish improve. Someday, when I'm made of money, I'll be at the dance studio every day!
