One step at a time...

I'm a 33 year old wife and mom (two adorable and wild boys) who is committed to getting back to my "happy" weight. I first started Sparkpeople in April 2012 and have had great success (at least in my book) in the past. After dedicating myself to lost weight, I became a runner and have logged multiple 5Ks, a 10K, 15K, and half-marathon. Unfortunately, I'm currently recovering from an injury and so my running has been sidelined. My new goal is to fully recover and run the 2014 Cherry Blossom ...

From where I am today, I am looking to lose 30 pounds. In 2012, that would have sounded like a ridiculous goal, but today I know that in the race against the bulge, I am going to win. It won't happen today, it won't happen tomorrow, but you can bet that I'm going to try and try again until I succeed.

Current Status:
EJENKINSB It's freezing today, but I'm digging out the fitness DVDs until it warms up! I'd love to head outside, but it's just too cold for my little guy.

How is your running going in the heat down there? It is hot down there isn't it? So hot in NH still. No relief for it soon either unless the thunderstorms take some out but we doubt it. I've been horrible about running. you would thing with the treadmill available in the a/c, I would hop right to it but no. I will get there!
