Hey, I'm kind of an oddity on this site. I don't want to lose weight. I actually want to gain. Desperately. I am trying to enlist in the Army, and I need to hit 130 lbs. for my height.

I currently live a little outside of Nashville, TN, and I love it here. My wife and I would love to settle down here once life has finished bouncing us around, but we're hoping that that's about 20+ years away.

Hey, I'm kind of an oddity on this site. I don't want to lose weight. I actually want to gain. Desperately. I am trying to enlist in the Army, and I need to hit 130 lbs. for my height.

I currently live a little outside of Nashville, TN, and I love it here. My wife and I would love to settle down here once life has finished bouncing us around, but we're hoping that that's about 20+ years away.

My dream is to be a Special Forces Operational Detachment - D Intelligence Operator. For those of you not familiar with the SF community, SFOD-D is more commonly known as "Delta Force", and is the premier anti/counter-terrorist unit in the United States Army. Their training and mission are roughly equivalent to that of DEVGRU (more commonly called SEAL Team 6), although I personally would rather have Delta on my six.

I actually have a plan for accomplishing this dream, and it involves a lot of hard work, and hopefully a lot of exercise and nutrition being tracked here on Spark People. But more than anything, I need support and encouragement, and would love to do the same for you!

My Goals:
1) Get my weight up to 130.

2) Enlist in the Army, preferably as a 35M or a 35P.

3) Pass the APFT with 60%'s in each event before BCT.

4) Earn a 300 on the APFT before the end of AIT.

5) Re-enlist as Special Forces.

6) Run a Marathon.

My Program:
Is under review and will be updated on January 1st.

Other Information:
My favorite books are the Book of Mormon and the Holy Bible. I love my wife, and am excited for being able to provide for my family as it grows. I love my country, and I am ready to serve it in any way possible.

What is your plan to add on muscle/weight to get you to your 130? I really admire your dedication and thorough planning for exactly what course your want to take in your enlistment.

how's it going? I upped my jog to 1.5. I'm doing 70 pushups and 90 situps. It's only been a few months!
