My highest weight was nearly 200 pounds, but when I got serious about losing in 2011 I was down to 168. Since then, I've lost an additional 40 pounds (and counting) with the help of the friendships and resources I've found on SparkPeople, bringing my total loss to 70+ pounds.

I made it to my goals because I never gave up - not during weeks (months) when the scale didn't move, not during upsets in my home and work lives, not during my darkest hours. Believe in yourself and you will be amazed at what you can accomplish.

My Goals:
- To be healthy and happy

- To help others in their health journeys whenever possible

My Program:
Clean eating at about 1650-1900 calories/day with my current workout schedule.

Current workout schedule (give or take):
Yoga - 5+ min/day
TRX - 120 min/week
Circuit training - 30-60 min/week
Zumba - 180-240 min/week
Other dance - 120+ min/week
Jogging - 1-2x/week

Personal Information:
Once upon a time, I totally gave up on myself and let everything go - I lost all faith in myself.

It wasn't easy to take back control of my life, but it has been the best struggle I've ever had. Now I wake up happy and thankful every day.

Other Information:
All I can tell you to do is just to keep going...as long as you don't stop, you will get there!

Thanks for the encouragement - I definitely stayed on track and it just made me more determined, but I have also lost some and given up, and that is NOT happening this time either. This "time" is called life!!
