Greetings!

Hi! After struggling with my weight for several years, I can finally say I'm where I want to be, thanks to SP, my gym, and my own personal motivation.

My story: After being on Celexa for about 3 years, I found myself about 30 pounds overweight and not feeling the motivation to do anything about it. I'm no longer overweight, my blood pressure and cholesterol are normal and I'm no longer in the "diabetes danger-zone" (that's what my doctor called it). You can do it too!

My Goals:
When I joined SP my goal was to lose at least 10-20 pounds. Now that I've been here for awhile, I've lost almost 40 pounds and my new goal is to maintain my weight.

My Program:
Diet: Portion control. I honestly eat what I want to eat, but it's a matter of how much and how often.

Exercise: 3 days of cardio for 60 min (HR 140-150) and 2 days of weights with cardio intervals (HR 130 then 170) .

Water: 6-8 cups a day.

Personal Information:
I grew up in Hershey PA. I now live outside of Lancaster, PA with my husband and our two cats. I work as a designer for a remodeling company and I have my own jewelry business on the side. My favorite place to spend an afternoon is in my gardens (flowers and veggies).

Other Information:
I have gone from feeling hopeless about my weight (and impending diabetes), but I've finally arrived at my goal. I encourage everyone to stick with their goal and focus on it because you can get there if you try hard enough.

Thanks for your nice comment on my blog. My uncle lived in Hershey for several years and was also a pianist like me. He was older and retired when he lived there but he still did a lot of performing. Glad you will get to see this concert in Hershey in July! Be prepared for sudden loud noises and fireworks and great music and lots of fun and bring ear plugs so you don't lose your hearing! Donnie was awesome at firing up the crowd and the ballad singers were wonderful! Keep your leg muscles strong so you can stand for 3 hours and dance!!! Have a great sparky week!
