Journey to Health

I am a 40 year old Mom of two teenagers, and a Life Coach in training. I have had several unsuccessful attempts at losing the weight and improving my health. I have been on and off The Spark for a few years now.

This time I can feel the success coming. I am being consistent with my tracking, and following through with my workouts. Most importantly, this feels so different! This is the first time that I am truly in it for me! I am changing my health and my life for me. I have ...

This time I can feel the success coming. I am being consistent with my tracking, and following through with my workouts. Most importantly, this feels so different! This is the first time that I am truly in it for me! I am changing my health and my life for me. I have told people that for as long as I can remember, but have not been able to apply it to my own life until now. I do not love myself yet, but I am letting go of the self hatred and learning to be kinder to myself. It is a process, but baby steps will get me there. I am excited for this journey. And I am cautiously excited for the future!

My Goals:
To bring myself back to a healthy weight.

To begin making better food choices and track everything I eat.

To become consistent about exercise.

To remember every day that this is for me.

My Program:
Keeping to meal plan of 1150-1350 calories daily. Remove white flours, sugars, and processed foods, and maintain a vegan diet. When I eat this way, I feel fantastic!

Exercising a Reasonable amount daily, and increasing the length and intensity slowly.

Hydrate Myself Properly.

Take medications, vitamins, and omega 3's daily.

No more smoking

Drink less Alcohol

Daily Meditation

Other Information:
I am preparing to graduate from a Life Coaching program in October- and I am over the Moon!
I love reading, writing, art, yoga, anything fitness or nutrition related. I am in the process of making a lot of changes in my life. I am curious to see what I will be when I grow up.
