On the final strech

Back in 2005, I weighed in at 250 lbs for my 5'2" frame. That year, I bought a stationary bike and lost 20 lbs.

Then, I decided that for my 40th birthday, I would lose weight to get me in the best shape of my life. And I did, I lost 65 pounds and never gained them back.

I then hit a 4 year plateau, during wich I gained and lost the same 10 lbs over and over again.

I still had some weight to lose, about 45 pounds and I'm getting rid of them for good. ...

Thanks for your comment on my "anti-mugger" blog. You're smart to begin this healthy living journey while your young. You've got lots of time to get even faster. You're just "hitting your stride." Hang in there!

Well thanks for responding! Zevia is soda, but 0 calorie, and made with Stevia instead of man-made sweeteners. I also picked up a couple sparkling mineral waters over the weekend, again 0 calorie, no sugar, no artificial sweeteners...I drink a lot of water as a rule, but for some reason on the weekends especially I just crave something a little more exciting!

Have a great day!

Hi! I had a question for you if you don't mind. I'm doing the 17 day diet for the first time, and am in cycle 1, day 14. I have grown extremely tired of water, lemon water & green tea. I was confused in the book about 0 calorie carbonated drinks like Zevia (0 calorie soda sweetened with Stevia). Since you've had success on this plan, I wondered if you ever drank these?

Thanks!
