Keeping This Temple Holy

I''m newly married, and just trying to maintain long-term health while I get used to my new routine and lifestyle. I have PCOS and insulin resistance, which makes things more difficult. I''ve found a lot of success through the Paleo diet and at-home workouts such as p90x and yoga.

Hi - I have been reading a lot. Have your mom read "The Big Fat Surprise".

I'm waiting for my first set of blood work since starting to eat this way and we have been so programmed to eat low fat, its really difficult for me to feel like I'm not being bad ;).

But I haven't had a major Migraine since I've started, I have more energy and my sleeping is better! (the migraine could also be because I dropped sucralose & aspartame and am almost strictly Stevia).

Edit: AND I have stopped taking my anti-depressant and feel great! - Less aches and pains

I just read your post on the PCOS and Losing Weight group. I completely understand that inside feeling that you will never have your own children. I have always had that. In fact I remember watching "Annie" when I was young thinking that is how I will have my kids. I have no idea why I thought that, I just knew that was it. I do that God will continue to guide me and my husband through our journey of life and at this point we have taken in 3 girls at different stages in their lives. It has been very rewarding and I would not change a thing!

Good Luck with your life journey, May God bless you! emoticon
