My Goals:
To get stronger and healthier so I can be an active part of my child's life. To get back into cooking healthy meals for the two of us and teaching her how to lead an active and healthy life by example.

My Program:
Daily walks with my dog. Yoga, strength training, and/or stretching at least twice a week (I know that's not much at all but it's a start). I don't eat much junk food but I need to eat more protein and more regularly.

Thanks so much for the sweet goodie! I would love to get a real one someday. Right now I'm just embarrassed of my nails, lol.

This taper is really tough! I'll make it, though. I'm just too darn stubborn. As far as the disease, it's been fairly quiet. Not silent, but quiet enough. Don't worry too much about your garden, we didn't do one this year either, I was just too tired. I'm hoping to do one in Jan/Feb, though. Do you do a winter garden?

Thanks for my goodie! I was making some pasta last night, and instead of following the recipe, I went out to my garden and picked the herbs that looked good. So fun, and tasted great!!

Mmm, your herbs idea for the mixed veggies sound SO good! I'm starting a small herb garden, so I don't have much yet, but I'm hitting the store this weekend to pick up some more.

I've tried PT, but I couldn't work it around my work schedule. And massages seem too expensive to afford right now. But thanks for the ideas! It's something I may need to put more thought into.
For now, I'm just doing lots of stretches for now, and trying to figure out the right positioning for my body. :)
