See this lady? This was the first picture she allowed to be taken of her in months.

She doesn't want to be remembered so clearly. She doesn't want any reminders that she was ever there- or what she looked like. She stayed indoors for years not wanting anyone to see her; she was so ashamed, embarrassed, and ...

She cringes every time someone walks near with a camera in hand. She doesn't want to see what she looks like. She doesn't recognize the fat girl in the photos and the mirror. She doesn't want to be remembered so clearly. She doesn't want any reminders that she was ever there- or what she looked like. She stayed indoors for years not wanting anyone to see her; she was so ashamed, embarrassed, and uncomfortable.
She wants to change that.

"She" is me. I am a 30-something housewife. I am struggling to become someone better. I am not happy with who I have become. This is a page I have designed to keep myself accountable and track my progress toward becoming a better me. I want to be thin enough to be comfortable, healthy enough to dance around, and happy enough to have my picture taken with joy!

My Program:
I moved a few months ago and had to take a break from the Spark program. My OCD was becoming much too hard to control with all the calorie-counting and fitness tracking. I was picking up some detrimental obsessions. I used the move to break my focus from them and feel like I am in a better place as far as that goes. I plan to work out Friday, Saturday, and Sunday's and continue eating a balanced diet...with NO counting!

I can really related to what you said in your intro about hiding from the camera, but we're on our way past that. All the best with your goals here at SP--you're going to rock at this!

Thanks for commenting on my blog yesterday. The party was definitely a great celebration for a great man. I love the P90X workouts, I feel so great afterwards. The only drawback for me in the beginning is that they are all 1 hour long and you have to dedicated at least 1 hour to 1-1/2 hours, six days a week. That's a huge committment, but so worth it if you can fit into your lifestyle. I love it. Good luck, let me know if you decide to do it, we can swap stories and I'd be glad to help you along your way.
