March 20 2014: Here I am again...finding some motivation to get more active on Spark. I had a setback, couldn't really tell you what triggered it. I have a hard time with "lifestyle" change. I'm pushing it. I'm "faking it until I make it" I just wish it would happend sooner than later.
We are going to France this summer and that's my target to drop some LBs. I started No Sugar for lent. Lack of sugar used to make a big difference in my weight but it's moving so slow right now.

I will start planning exercise next week- scheduling it in, see if that helps. I'm hoping by the end of Lent it will be habit. I'll do it for God, and the body he gave me, praying he will help me whip it into shape!

I love my life..just not my size. I want to be smaller, because exercising won't hurt as much. Healthier means eating better...but eating better requires serious hard work for me. I'm a carb junkie. I'm the starchy potato chip & fresh bread with butter junkie. I could care less about the cookie, chocolate or cake in the corner. I want to try to get away from the carbs, not crave them. Work on developing a plan that includes lots of veggies.
Exercise is tough. It hurts. I am hoping to drop some more weight so I can start regularly running again. I was told for every pound I weigh it's 7 pounds on my joints when I run. So instead I'm trying to walk/bike/scooter. Tough for me to work up a sweat like that though.

My Goals:

Exercise scheduled at least 3 days a week

Establish an eat for sustanence, not enjoyment

My Program:
Keeping between 1200 to 1500 calories a day, less than 100 carbs. Which is difficult because I LOVE starch.

No sugar, natural sugars (fruit) are ok.

Personal Information:
I live in Syracuse NY, on Oneida Lake.

I am a happily married mommy, blessed with 3 beautiful children. two boys(8,11) and a girl(3)
I am a systems engineer & and work hard at streamlining processes for the State Hospital I work for(NY)

Hey girl thanks for stopping by my page. I have been doing well. We got a puppy Saturday and it turns out she is sick right now so I have not made it to the gym however she has been lots of work so one thing at a time. Trying to keep my food on track and water. I am also having a smoothie in the morning for a healthy kick of vegetables and fruits this way if I do go off track I got most of my fruits and veggies in for the day. So sleepy today as I have not slept well since Friday night. The puppy was up every hour Saturday night sick and vomiting, sunday was a bit better but yesterday she was very ill and the meds made her groggy. Today she apparently has some personality and energy according to my husband as I am at work and not home with her.

Hope all is well with you. I seen you got some workout minutes in which is great. I hope to at least get a walk around the block with my puppy tonight if she is well enough.

Glad you're looking to get back into this - already got a great streak going! I waver in and out of my slump. Good week followed by a bad one... I need to get back into this with a much greater effort. Perhaps we can help each other get into the swing of things?!?!
