Well, Mom is finally at peace; and after 3 years of caring for her, I need to figure out who I am again. It is strange being home and being able to call my time my own. Time to spend some quality time on ME!

My MAIN goal is to be healthy enough to perform the various day-to-day functions required of me without undo pain.

My first major weight-loss goal is to get below 300 lbs.

My Program:
Fitness: 10 minutes daily, Monday through Friday; then increase as tolerated.

Nutrition: 1450-1800 calories daily as tracked via SP. I'm beginning to believe that SUGAR is an even bigger culprit in my life than I originally thought and am looking into doing away with as much of it as possible.

Emotional: Work on identifying emotional triggers and finding other ways of dealing with them besides food!

Mental: Be positive!

Home Environment: Declutter and minimize !

Personal Information:
I am 57 years old and married to my best friend! We have 3 wonderful sons whom we love dearly and 4 cats! I enjoy SINGING, reading, SINGING, cooking/baking, SINGING/music, going out with friends, SINGING and doing family history (genealogy) work for myself and others. If you hadn't guessed SINGING is a big part of my life!

Other Information:
I am the director of a Family History Center and enjoy working with others, whether in a one-on-one setting, classroom, or presentation! I love spreading my enthusiasm for family to others!

Yes, my DH is good about eating what's put in front of him and thanking me for it but I know not to bother with some things a second time, LOL.

We're having chili tonight and meatball spaghetti tomorrow night then I'll make him a meatloaf for Friday night (and I'll just eat the baked potato and veggies, doing tuna for lunch or something) and that way he'll have leftover meatloaf to make himself a sandwich later in the week for a dinner. I decided to splurge for crab cakes for us and our friend on Saturday (already prepared/frozen), I'll bake fries in the oven and see if the corn on the cob is still okay, don't know where the store is getting that from! Sunday I'll cook my turkey breast and I'll probably eat on the leftovers of that but I bought frozen-type meal for him, a fried chicken strip thing and chicken enchiladas if he (or I) want to make them, they come with all the stuff in the box. Then there's Thanksgiving and then I'll be on to the next week, which will be the 7 Articles or principles to learn and do that week and on their "day" of the week therafter?
