I love Fiddler on the Roof!! I don't know it the high school or colleges I attended ever did it or not. When my son was in high school they had My Fair Lady and The Wizard of Oz. He didn't do theater or drama in college. The teacher said that what they do depends on their budget. They don't make the costumes here any more like when I was young. They rent them and it's expensive.

My son and hubby are also talented musicians. My son won first superior medal in our state competition for chorus. One of only two received at his school. He plays the keyboard. He and my husband both compose music. My husband plays the guitar. I don't have any talent in that regard. I have a banjo but have never gotten into it like they did.

Your children sound very talented. They must love the arts. I had a friend when I was growing up whose brother was deaf and attended a school for the deaf. He would be home for the summer so I learned sign language. I probably have forgotten a lot of it. LOL. I hope your daughter gets to play Ursula. I'm sure she is practicing for that part already.

Sounds like you are doing great. Especially if you can keep up with Marine standards. LOL.

Thank you for your kind comments to my on my sparkpage.

I loved the picture of you and your daughter in "The Nutcracker" It has always been one of my favorites. I assume that you both like drama/dance. I took drama classes and was a lead in a couple of plays. My favorite was Roger and Hammerstein's "Cinderella", though singing in public actually terrifies me. The other play most people have never heard of. I was also the Wicked Witch in the "Wizard of Oz." LOL.

I hope that you are completely recovered from your injury. It sounds like you really dealt with some challenges.
