I had a beautiful baby girl on August 8th, 2016. (My miracle baby, after being told basically my whole adult life that natural conception would be near impossible for me.) I gained a disgusting 50 pounds during pregnancy. (Though, most people don't believe that; I just carry weight well!) I'm currently up 18 pounds yet that I would like to lose. I really need to work on the diet portion, since I'm still eating like I'm pregnant! Yikes!

I am in maintenance/lose a few pounds/tone up mode. I've always had self-image issues. While I still am grossed out by my (nude) body, I have learned to appreciate how it looks in clothes...most likely from doing all my fashion blogging. (Check the blog out! Link is posted below!)

I was 149 pounds when I entered a VERY emotionally (and physically) abusive relationship in 2006. During the following three years, I battled anorexia (as a direct result of him...) I didn't think I was too skinny, I actually enjoyed that weight, but I was also eating under 500 calories a day, and knew it was unhealthy.

I still have TONS of body image issues, which are SLOWLY getting a little better. I do, however, feel so much happier, exercising and eating healthily.

My Goals:
~Right now, my main goal is to keep working towards someday loving my body. It's been a long bumpy road, but someday I hope to get there!

My Program:

Personal Information:
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. "

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13

Other Information:
I LOVE hiking and taking walks.

I some day plan to attend seminary and hopefully graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Counseling.

I would love to use this degree with long-tern prison inmates that are facing release.

I have a sweet tooth bigger than anyone I've ever met. (I can eat half the bag of cake mix podwer in one sitting...just the powder... )

My hero/role model is Daniel (aka Daniel and the Lion's Den.)

I LOVE clothes and shoes.

I LOVE wedding planning.

I was a gymnast for most of my life...I miss it with a passion, but my step-daughter seems to love it, so I am living vicariously through her!

When we first adopted Turkey, some of his behavioral problems made both of us say "I'm gonna take you back to the pound!" He still has his problems, but it would break my heart to even think about taking him back to the one would love him like we do! emoticon I've always had dogs as part of my family....and have never surrendered any of them to a drive cross country to a new home with one, I've done a few times!

I am not a fan of having a cat......but for my entire adult life, I've had TWO cats in my house. That started with a boyfriend, who became an ex, and then easier when living in an apartment. I have also kept them, and cherished them until the end of their days emoticon

Almost all of my critters have been rescues~my first cat....Kit Kat was purebreed himalayan, born with a heart murmur, died at the old age of eleven from kidney failure~was pretty quick....and still a tear-jerker, many years later. I even adopted my besties cat when he moved across the country.....Tuxedo Bob lived to be almost sixteen!
