Like everybody, I've had my ups and downs. I'm creeping up again and want to stop the insanity! I've been as low as 155 and as high as 221. I know that food has been a crutch for some pretty miserable times in my life (221 was right prior to my divorce... go figure). 155 was college, I was smoking hot, had my whole life in front of me and not a care in the world... what's not to be happy about?
Life happens... fast forward to now....
The notion of losing weight is always in the back of my head but, at times, not such a priority. I've found the man of my dreams, have a great family and am pretty much loving life. I suppose I've been a somewhat complacent here lately about my health and fitness and there really is no excuse!
So here I am..... I've started this page to hold myself accountable. I love charts and graphs and seeing everything on paper is quite the eye-opener! I would love to meet some local people who are endeavoring on this journey! Drop me a line....

about 180 for cruise
8/15 after the cruise .... 196 what!?!?!?!??!!??!!?
9 something 188
10/7 190 again.
1/4......... 199 um HELLLLOOOOO!!!
1/1 200 some.... ugh
1/2 210 how the heck did that happen
1/3 212 water weight
7/1 ~189 and ran an 8 minute mile
note the trend....ggh
I want to be 160 lbs and healthy!
How I'm going to get there:
Lose 50 pounds.
Get my cholesterol below 200 within one year
Get my BMI to normal: 24.9 within one year
Get my body fat to under 30% within one year
Improve overall health now
I want to look Good Naked!!!!!
Prevent long term problems.... i don't want to be a burden on my family later in life.
I want to be active when I'm retired.
1. Close the cabinet doors
2. Drink 8 8oz glasses of water daily.
3. Exercise three times a week to start
4. Journal daily & Daily Props

Be able to show off the smoking HOT body hiding under this layer of fat!

170....take the kids to Great Wolf Lodge Indoor Water park
-Drink my H20, watch my fat, carbs and cals.
-at least 90 minutes of exercise weekly.
I'm a mom, wife, friend, sister, daughter, ICU nurse, gardener, knitter, and various other things depending on the day. Life is to short to be unhealthy!

I love your side tattoo!! I've been wanting to get a phoenix on my side for years, but I've never gotten down to the point where I thought I would be willing to actually show people the tat! haha
I also went through a divorce. When I had started dating him I was about 180, and after our 4 years together I left his dumbass, but was then about 215. I'm not sure how your divorce rolled out, but when I was with my ex I basically lost all motivation to take care of myself because I was so miserable.
Now, I've been with an absolutely wonderful man for about a year and a hallf, and am currently down 25 pounds! It's amazing how much easier it is to take care of yourself when you are happy and have someone supporting you!
Anyway, this comment ended up longer than I had anticipated, but I was just happy to find someone who seemed very similar to me!
