January 4, 2015 -- Just like a yo-yo....Starting the New Year needing to take off 11-13 pounds. I've done it before I can do it again. My problem is maintenance.
My one word for 2015 is TRUST

September 3, 2013 -- Well, it took a mighty long time for me to finally get *back on track* but I did it.
Got home from vacation on June 18th and on June 19th I hopped back on the wagon and worked at it. And boy did I work hard!
And once again, it was all due to tracking my nutrition. Well yeah, the exercise helped too but tracking nutrition is of utmost importance!
As of August 28th, I am happy to report that I DID IT! I am back to my first original goal! I lost all the weight I gained back (15 pounds)!
And, even better, I lost 14.5 total inches!
Life IS Good!!
January 1, 2013 -- Time to get back on track. Time to start tracking nutrition again. I want to lose this 6 pounds that I gained back since reaching my goal weight.
I didn't have a yearly running mileage goal last year but I did run 906.38 total miles. I completed 4 marathon, 6 half marathons and a 200 mile relay.
My running goal for 2013 will be 1100+ miles.
My fitness minutes goal of 2012 was 21,000 minutes. I didn't make it. Only had 18,395 minutes. I will keep this years goal the same.
My mantra--Relentless forward motion to the end!!

January 7 & 8, 2012 -- I completed the Goofy Race and a Half at Disney. It consisted of the half marathon on Saturday and the full marathon on Sunday. It was tough but I did it!
I wont' be making any running yearly mileage goal. I'll still be running but I'm not going to push for any particular distance. I've been going pretty strong for 3 years and its time to give my legs a bit of a break. No pressure! At least until my next marathon training begins. I'm shooting for another full marathon in October 2012.

August 28, 2011 -- I ran the Hood to Coast 200 Mile Relay in Portland Oregon this past weekend! What a great time. I ran three legs of between 6.1 and 7.2 miles, with little to no sleep, of uphill *fun*. Best of all, my last leg had a 3.6 mile ascent up a mountain with lots of switchbacks. Very hard for this FL girl to run up since the only hills I have to train on are speed bumps. But I did it! I conquered *my* mountain! I can do anything!
On to the next challenge.....BRING IT!

August 22, 2011 -- Wow! What an amazing journey I have been on! It's been the ride of my life and it just keeps going! Soon, I leave for Oregon and will be running the Hood To Coast 200 Mile Relay with 11 other runners, plus 2 wonderful van drivers, who are all Sparkers! Another dream come true! Life IS Good! And it just keeps getting better!!
April 14, 2011 -- Fit, Fabulous and now Fifty!! I'm so proud of myself for the changes I've made. I've been living my new healthy lifestyle for 2 years now. Life IS Good!
January 9, 2011 -- I did it! I'm a MARATHONER!! I finished the Disney World Marathon!
I did it standing up! I did it with a smile on my face!! I did it with my arms RAISED in Victory!!!
And I completed another goal ... I wanted to run a marathon before I turned 50.....I did it!! I'm NOT 50 yet!!
January 4, 2011 -- One of my long term goals is to complete a FULL Marathon before turning 50 (and that happens the middle of April). I will get my first chance to reach that goal on Sunday, January 9th. I am running the Disney World Marathon....26.2 miles baby!!
My goal will be to complete it, standing up, with a smile on my face. But if I had to have a time goal, I'd LOVE to complete it anytime before 5hrs and 15min.
November 28, 2010 -- Today was the Space Coast Half Marathon. This was my first ever half marathon last year and I ran it in 2:36:01. This year it was my 7th half marathon and a new PR for me. I ran it in 2:19:44!! I'm very happy with the progress I'm making in my running! I look forward to many more years of running.
October 4, 2010 -- Two years with SparkPeople. I have been maintaining my weight loss since August 2009. I'm much more active. I'm a runner! And I even love Strength Training now.
Just look at me now! I've come a long way baby!!
March 10, 2010 -- I am officially registered for the Rock and Roll Chicago HM. (It will be my 3rd HM) It's also looking like there is going to be another Spark Rally...anyone else looking to join the fun?
February 28, 2010--Ran the Rock and Roll Mardi Gras Half Marathon in New Orleans and shattered my old time by 7:05 !! Official Chip Time was 2:28:56 !!
I had an AMAZING time with fellow Sparkers from all across the US and Canada. It was a weekend FILLED with AWESOME memories!!
January 1, 2010---The year of Fit and Fabulous!
2009 was the year of weight loss. Now that the *extra* weight is gone, I am going to focus my attention on getting fit and tone, and with fit comes FABULOUS!!

November 29, 2009---My goals for this month were
1. To finish my first half marathon
2. And do it standing up!!
Both Goals Met! I ran my first half marathon!
Finished in 2:36:01. I did it standing up AND smiling!!
Once again, my SparkFriends were all there for me!
October 4, 2009---My 1 year Sparkversary!
I am 43 pounds lighter, 100% healthier, and I'm a runner!
May 6, 2009---I am 8 pounds from my goal weight. I think it was much easier to take off the first 35 pounds then these last ones.

January 1, 2009---Thank you SparkPeople for helping me to live a better lifestyle in the last half of 2008. More changes are coming in 2009!
December 10, 2008---I heard many times that to be successful in weightloss, you must track your food. I fought tracking my food for years. SP made tracking my food intake easy. Once I began to use the Nutrition Tracker, I realized it wasn't what I was eating that was putting on the weight but how much I was eating. Once I modified my diet, the weight started coming off.
October 4, 2008---I discovered this site quite by accident. I was looking at work out videos on youtube when I clicked on a video with Coach Nicole doing an abdominal workout. I watched the video and at the end, she mentioned SparkPeople.
So I headed over here, checked it out, registered and here I am.

Run a 10k--Goal Met! Ran on Sept 19, 09....66:06 (it was advertised as a 10k but in reality was only 6 miles.)
Run Half Marathon Nov 29, 09---Goal Met! Finished in 2:36:01, standing up and smiling!
Run the Rock and Roll Mardi Gras HM on Feb 28, 2010 in less than 2:35 for a new PR. Goal Met! 2:28:56
Run the Disney World Full Marathon on Jan 9, 2011. I did it! Goal Met!!
