Hi, my name is Marilyn I live in BC(Canada). I am 53 years old, married with two children(35 year old son and 18 year old daughter). I want to lose weight and get in shape for me. I walk at least four days a week(going to work) but I need to do more. I tend to snack a lot which wouldn't be too bad if I snacked on fruits and veggies instead of sweet stuff. I live in Abbotsford but am originally from Winnipeg. I also lived in Calgary for three years. I am not trying as hard as I should be so I need a lot of motivation. I am hoping that 2014 will be a good year for me. I will be starting from scratch March 24, 2014.

Welcome to the Weekly Challenge Team emoticon  introduce yourself and let the rest of the team know you. Go to the Roll Call thread and let us all know you joined the team. We would love to know a bit more about you. 

Come join the "August 2013 Fitness Minutes" challenge. You decide for yourself how many minutes your August goal will be. Then you come back as often as possible and write what you've done so far. The goal is to meet the goal you set. This is how I started to exercise. I went from 10 minutes 3 days a week to 60 minutes 6 days a week. I also lost 4 inches last month. BONUS 

Motivation and support are definite priorities in our group. In our Roll Call thread you will find these wonderful people out there who share your happiness; your worry; your sadness; your pain and always know just what to say to support you and let you know your not alone.  Drop by the Roll Call thread where several of us talk, encourage each other, ask questions or just say Hi. emoticon
