Running changes EVERYTHING!

I'm BACK and ready to jump-start my new life with a MAJOR weight-loss. I have been in a very dark place for the last 2-3 years but EVERYTHING is changing so I made up my mind to Spark again and change my body too.

I am going through a divorce and it isn't as ugly as it could be but ALL divorces are ugly.

My Goals:
# 1 NO FAST /PROCESSED FOODS
a.) pre plan all meals and snacks
b.) buy all groceries at the beginning of the week
c.) pre pack/store snacks
d.) don't carry cash
e.) place debit card in sealed envelope to prevent misuse

# 2 NO DIET COKES / DRINK 3 LITTERS OF WATER DAILY
a.) don't buy diet cokes
b.) don't carry cash / change so I can't buy any diet cokes
c.) take 2 one litter bottles of water EVERYWHERE I go
d.) can't drink ANYTHING but water until I reach my daily water intake goal

# 3 Beat my 5k time / train for 1/2 marathon
# 4 TRACK EVERYTHING
a.) don't eat ANYTHING until I track to make sure I don't go OVER!
b.) schedule and keep workouts
c.) weekly blog about thoughts, challenges and achievements

# 5 KEEP FAITHFULLYTRYNG
a.) 20 minutes of meditation daily
b.) 30 minutes BIBLE study / devotion / prayer
c.) Connect to sp daily


My Program:
Diet:
Eat every 3-4 hours
Eat only healthy carbohydrate
No processed food
NO DIET COKES!
Drink 1 GALLON of water daily

Exercise:
Follow 28 day SparkPeople Bootcamp workout

Run 5 days a week

Devotion
Read Bible 30+ minutes DAILY
20 minutes of meditation DAILY
Seek God's will in EVERYTHING I DO!

I was born and raised in Tennessee which sparked my love for country music. I have a deep passion for family and friends. I am the youngest of 5 girls. I have an identical twin sister with whom I share EVERYTHING!

Can you believe it? I have been sick for two months straight. I actually had to take 6 weeks of sick leave in order to get better. This flu is crazy this year. I am back to work this week but only for 5 hrs. a day until I get back to normal.

I am sorry to hear about the divorce. I remember you were struggling when we first met. But great for you for starting a new career you like and where you can help others. How are the kids? I think you had just had a baby when we first met.

Your goal is impressive for the rest of the year. I have a similar one to lose 10 pounds or more by then. But it doesn't seem like enough time and with my lack of WT loss this year I will need to really be disciplined.

I am so glad to hear from you. I see you have seen some amazing results in weight loss. I lost 40 pounds the first we met back in 2008 but this year my age has caught up to me and I have gained it all back (in 1 yr). So I am trying to reverse this trend and figure out how to get back to my maintenance weight. How about you?
