My Goals:
My goal is to make some small but meaningful and permanent changes to my life in order to be healthier. Weight loss and increased strength and stamina will follow.

My Program:
First and foremost, I am tracking everything and it helps tremendously! By reading my own reports, I can see many misconceptions I've had about my diet. I am striving to achieve at least the minimum levels on calories, carbs, proteins, and fibre. As well, I am committed to move more, but baby steps -- because I have some health issues that limit that, and I really want the changes to become HABIT, and hence permanent.

Oh my gosh, you are going to have to stop with all your kind words or my ego is not going to fit through the door! *GIGGLES* Overall I feel really good... It's weird but when I am walking around Disneyland I feel HEALTHY. I know that's a strange thing to feel, but the fact that I could walk 12 miles and then come home and walk Sparky another mile shows that I'm sturdy. I have "normal weight" friends who couldn't do that without being in a lot of pain... and so far I feel fine. A few normal aches from being out and about all day but nothing that would prevent me from doing it again tomorrow if I had to. I think when I can have my tummy fixed I will have a new chapter of my life... I feel like right now my outsides (the tummy mostly) don't match my insides. I feel like I'm strong and healthy but this tummy/skin thing kind of hides that. So I have my days of worrying about that but overall I am learning to be happy and enjoy things.

I hope all is well with you. Your comments are so encouraging and on days that this gets hard (and it happens more than I care to admit), it's the fantastic people like YOU That remind me what's important. Not to mention seeing the cat along with your comment always makes me emoticon

Thanks so much for dropping by this morning. Yes, though we've been here a while we still need that encouragement. I'm part of the BLC challenge and really trying to get some seriouis pounds off for the 12 weeks . Hoping for 18. I've got to stop going up and down and get back to a loosing streak which sees me closer to goal.
