My Goals:
To lose at least 154 lbs. I have diabetes, high blood pressure and rheumatoid arthritis and take medication for all three. I would like to come off of the diabetes and high blood pressure medication completely and take as little as possible for the arthritis. Losing weight will also take a lot of pressure off of my joints which should help a great deal. And lastly, I would like to be able to go into a regular store, not a plus size store, and buy my clothes right off the rack!

My Program:
Currently, I am eating less than 1400 calories a day but would like to gradually decrease this number to maybe 1100-1200 a day. I have also implemented a workout routine that currently consists of mostly cardio at least five days a week but will gradually introduce some strength training as well.

Personal Information:
I am a divorced, 40 year old IT and Media professional living in Houston, Texas.

Other Information:
I love music of all genres, anything techie (especially Apple products), blogging, reading autobiographies, biographies, self-help, history and some fiction.

Just stopping by to say keep moving forward and NEVER look back! This is a lifetime change and we have to take it day by day!
