Hi everyone, I'm Emily a.k.a. ferretgirl28. I just moved from New Jersey to the Boston area. I am trying to lose 15 pounds to start.

My main goals right now are: to reach that 15 lb. goal, to get back to logging my food every day, to control my anxiety on a daily basis, to get back to working out regularly, to log on to SP everyday, to update my blog frequently, and to set mini-goals to strive for each week.

I love the support I've found on Sparkpeople, and really count on comments and encouragement on my blog/page to help push me along to success. The people here are wonderful! Even though I've been struggling lately , I am determined to reach all my goals, and I hope to get fully back on track with my diet & exercise very soon.

I am originally from Bergen County, NJ now living in the Boston area

I have been married for 10 years

I have 2 amazing ferrets! One boy and one girl :)

I have been a strict vegetarian for 20 years

Other Information:
I love movies, music & books, traveling, spending time in nature, inventing new vegetarian recipes, spending time with loved ones (including the ferrets), and trying new restaurants.

Hey Emily, thanks for the comment and my back is starting to get
and feel better today. I did accomplish doing my weights but I took
it a little bit easier with less reps and at times switched down to
a lower weight. Some exercise is better than none. Hope you
