Staying commited, and having the patience to do so...

I have been with Sparkpeople since 2010. I am not new at the "losing weight" thing. But I keep coming back to Spark because of the impact it has had on my life. I continuously remain committed to this site, and more importantly to myself. I have a way to go before losing all the weight I need to. I must remain patient with myself and know that I will one day reach my goals. Losing this weight won't happen overnight. Sparkpeople is one of the most important tools I have to help me. I owe so much ...

I've been working 10-12 hour days and have not been getting any exercise in. Not an excuse I know...but the truth.

I've been watching my eating and I have lost a few lbs. but I really need to move my ASS!! emoticon

I've discovered greek yogurt recently. I've never been huge on yogurt so never really tried it but I gotta tell you, it's wonderful! One thing though...the flavored ones are not that great for you....too much added sugar and carbs. I bought a big tub of the plain Chobani and it's awesome. I guess you have to have the taste for something that is very similar to sour cream. I love sour cream!! So this will be my new love and go to snack/light meal. Maybe I will find some healthy goodies to add to it to make it crunchy or sweeter.

Anyway, gotta run....so glad to hear from you!

I had a D&C Monday so I was off work until today. I'm still sore and tired but work doesn't stop! lol

I haven't worked out though... emoticon

Hey Hana! I'm ok....not great, not terrible...just ok...

I went on a 5 day camping trip over the 4th and gained 5 lbs... emoticon I think it was mostly alcohol, but I'm working on that. I did NOT get in the shape I wanted to be in for the Heart concert on the 21st. I have a VIP meet-n-greet pass and really wanted to look and feel better about the photo I get with Ann and Nancy but I didn't do it. I guess that proves that you have to do it for yourself and not anyone else.

Glad to hear school is going welll! I could be a lifelong student if I didn't have to work LOL!

I'm glad you're back and it sounds like you are on track to healthy thoughts emoticon
