Renovating Fifi: back to business

Haere mai, welcome to my page, Sparkers!

I easily released most of my excess fat in 2013 and 2014 and then just as easily took on some new fat! Stopped the slide before attaining my previous top weight, and my big work for 2015 is to rerelease that excess fat, maintain my goal weight, & practice adherence to that new body. Now is the time to get back to business.

Increase fitness, flexibility & energy. Gain muscle, lose fat. My 2015 focus is on releasing fat and more weight based exercise.

My Program:
Log in every day. High intensity interval exercise, mostly Zumba & water exercise.
Reset my weight and eating patterns with the Cura Romana & 5:2 diet.

I'm a Kiwi chick, living with my DH in New Zealand. I work part time and I love to garden. I have a small flock of chickens, some purely decorative nowadays.

We need to get a juicer or something like that. I'd actually like to be able to use the pulp rather than throw it away so I need to look into what is available and what fits our needs. I do have a little one serving smoothie blender that I use a lot and I have a regular blender so can use those for now. I think blending up beets sounds good. emoticon

emoticon Thank you so much for your comment on my Beck blog. This point in the process can feel pretty overwhelming, like it is going to be a constant battle with sabotaging thoughts. Other posters have pointed out that it gets easier. My experience is that this is true. I probably should have emphasized that more, but I am going through Beck with fresh eyes, seeing all my current weaknesses. When I do that, it IS a huge task ahead! Losing weight and losing dysfunctional thinking are both hard work.

emoticon I really appreciate that you share my conviction that the thoughts will always be there. It's great to have community of Pod People.!That's the safest approach for me to take and I know it will be easier to stick to mental discipline if I don't ever consider myself "cured."
