Getting fit so I can SHINE!

Hello! My name is Katelyn and I live in Tennessee. I love to write songs and sing, and I have started writing a novel.
I am enrolled in a graduate program for a degree in clinical mental health counseling and I am totally rocking it! I have a 4.0 after 3 semesters! :)

I chose a theme word for this year: STRONG. It is already March and I haven't really done anything to incorporate my theme word into my life, but I am hoping to change that very soon! I want to be physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually strong. I am hoping to use Sparkpeople to achieve my physical strength goals.
I used Sparkpeople in 2010-2011 and lost 100lbs in 18 months! I stopped tracking and gained back 147lbs in 4 years. :( I started halfheartedly trying to lose weight again in August and I have netted a loss of about 14lbs thus far. My goal is to lose the 145lbs I have left by my graduation day, which is in May of 2017. I know it is a BIG goal! But I know that if I get serious I can do it!

Lose 145 lbs

Pass the President's Fitness Test (that dreaded elementary school PE test we did every year that I could never pass...)

My Program:
Eating healthy foods and tracking them with the Nutrition Tracker, exercising daily (or almost daily), both cardio and strength training.
