Time for a Re-boot

3.15.13~ I have gotten to a point in my journey where I'm stuck. I feel like I am stagnating, and worse, going backwards right now, so its time to go back to the beginning and look at this journey with fresh eyes. I feel like I am stagnating, and worse, going backwards right now, so its time to go back to the beginning and look at this journey with fresh eyes. I've lost a lot of weight, 54 lbs and now fit into regular size clothes. Over the last 5 1/2 months I have seen my progress fall short, then stop. I had some initial success when I removed myself from a situation that was very toxic for me, but have since slipped way off track. I have sadly regained about 10 lbs in the last 6 weeks due to lack of exercise and eating way too much of the wrong things. So I am re-booting my program. I am not really re-starting because I haven't completely stopped, just going back to the small steps that I started with to get everything back on track again... to get my motivation, determination and drive back! That means stepping up my presence here on Spark again as well! So here we go!

I was born and raised in Southern California, but moved to the Pacific Northwest in April of 2011. (I currently live in northern Seattle).
I love all things Disney and even named my 4 year old Tuxedo kitty "Disney"
I am currently 41, single and have no children (aside from my fur-baby).
I also love to read, walk everywhere and listen to music.

I also love the butterflies! emoticon And I liked your huddle on the Seattle team today about Loving Yourself! For such a huge team, not many people huddle--or post for that matter. And love ourselves is one of my common themes. Feel free to check out my page and/or blogs. One of my favorites is an early one "Let me be your mirror" that I wrote in 2 parts, cuz I had to stop to go to work! emoticon

Anyway, emoticon on your weight loss so far--you are doing emoticon I started at 215 also, more than 2 years ago (when I came back to Spark after a little dabbling), and I hit a healthy BMI just before or after the first of the year, I think. And if you are interested in self-defense, I posted about the non-profit, all-women kung fu studio in Seattle, Seven Star on the Seattle team.
