June 2010, I'm realizing I MUST log all food AND have a food PLAN! Exercise is on track with 500+ minutes a week, I'm doing the c25k program... time to get on TRACK and get to GOAL WEIGHT by YEAR END~

Feb. 2010, Well I have learned to maintain my weight, if only I was ready for that stage! After several months of weighing in the same I'm going to change things up... I have a new job that is very active and I'm learning to plan snacks and meals accordingly~ Have a PLAN and I Will get it DONE in 2010!

July 2009: Well I'm still here! After finding success, I kind of staggered and have maintained... not so bad really. I'm finding the plan hard as I increase exercise but the calories stay the same so I will up the calories on days with high caloric burns... I had to give up Curves and I know strength training must play a part in my life! I am pleased with my overall losses, both weight and inches, I'm on 2 of the most supportive teams with people that will call me out if needed, and I'm learning to like what I see in the mirror...

April 1, 2009: UPDATE: Well it has been quite a year thus far! My body was not into releasing weight and frustration set in. After a visit with my Doctor, in mid February, I gained a plan of action(not a pill, but a calorie range and meal breakdown)... since then the scale has moved releaasing almost 10 pounds! Although unhappy with the scale I found it a GREAT thing... yep great! It allowed me to look for NSV's (non scale VICTORIES) and to listen to my body, getting in and put on meds then learning how to continue my path to health.

Look at the big picture, if you lose any amount per week it is weight released FOREVER! Not lost as we do not want to FIND it! RIGHT?! As of April 2nd I've RELEASED 55 pounds, YaHoo!

MY STORY (2008):

I am 37, married since 1991 to my Best Friend, have 2 wonderful sons ages 12 and 7.

I can remember feeling fat in junior high, now I look back and see I wasn't... my Mom and I were always on a Diet it seems as were my extended family. In high school I followed Weight Watchers and was a healthy size 10, sure felt heavier though! I married in 1991 at 19 and started gaining weight, in 1996 I joined WW again and weighed 220... in 7 weeks I lost 15 pounds and found out I was expecting my first child! Fast forward to 1999 back to WW at 224 pounds, I joined the week before Easter and was determined to succeed! I achieved Lifetime weight of 145 pounds in January 2000 and went to work for WW. After a year of maintaining I concieved my second child, had a healthy pregnancy and lost most of my weight quickly... 2002 brought many changes to our home, jobs, income, kids health, etc and I stopped thinking of ME... I no longer exercised, no longer ate 3 meals daily, no longer cared... I gained, stressed, became depressed, gained more, a cycle I wanted and needed to END! In 2007 I was searching online for calorie counters and found Spark, I knew this was the place to start new! My weight loss has been slow, but my learning immense... I know I will succeed, and the 33 pounds lost are gone FOREVER!

A few things that help me:
*My Family
*Eat Breakfast daily
*8 or more cups water daily
*Exercise 30 minutes or more 7 days a week
*Tracking food and exercise
*My Sparkteams, ESPECIALLY MY PPP'S!
**Protein at EVERY meal, plus 2 snacks!

My message to help motivate you & ( Especialy ) Me this week is

“Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.”

emoticon Spark Buddie,

My message to help motivate you & ( Especialy ) Me this week is

“Don't rely on someone else for your happiness and self-worth. Only you can be responsible for that. If you can't love and respect yourself – no one else will be able to make that happen. Accept who you are – completely; the good and the bad – and make changes as YOU see fit – not because you think someone else wants you to be different.”
– Stacey Charter

Have a Fabulous Week !!!

Have A Wonderful Weekend.!!!

My message to help motivate you & ( Especialy ) Me this week is

“You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don’t try to forget the mistakes, but you don’t dwell on it. You don’t let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space.”
