My goals have always been to be fit, healthy, and strong. My youngest daughter, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), has been my motivator. Because of her being the strong little person that fights everyday, has led me to realize I can do the same.

I have really had a hard time over the last 2 yrs (injury, surggery, family issues, etc) and realized 6 months ago that there was way too much going on. I actually lost my way in many things in life, including my health and fitness. I have now realized I need to get back on track with all that needs attention again... family, health, me. So here I am... Back on SPARK!

I am trying to make some little changes to get back to where I was and to get motivated and focused again. Except this time I am not going to let it rule my life. At one point I was SO strict and focused, I didn't see the fun in other things. Now it is all about enjoying fitness and health on my journey and sharing it with others.

Thanks for your comment on my blog! The holidays sure are difficult... I envy those who are able to stay on track. This week I've been doing well with my calories and today I finally got a "workout" in. Walking and 5 minutes of ST seems like nothing of a workout, but I have to remember, by body isn't in the shape it was in 1.5 years ago! Baby steps.........

I love the new P90 because the exercises are easier and shorter and will help me get stronger for Cathes STS workout sometime next year. Although they are somewhat easier they are still challenging... really like the structure of the program.
