I know 5k in 40 is a hefty goal but I figure I went from barely able to jog for 3 mins to jogging for 40 mins in 5 weeks, so if I stay healthy and keep losing my 2 lbs a month, it's doable, lol. I jog 2.12 to 2.20 miles in 40 now, so maybe doable in a year emoticon

Hi Mary, yes, I am glad my luggage has arrived and I can go for more adventurous walks with my sport shoes on now! This morning I met about 30 beautiful long-haired goats along the rough track - they only looked mildly surprised at the sight of a hot and bothered Brit bearing down on them!

Thanks for stopping by my page. DH and I re discovered a place for walking. When we were first married we used to walk at this cemetery. We decided last night to go back. Things have really changed there. We haven't been there for quite awhile. The cemetery is a perfect circle with a hill. I'm not sure of the exact mileage, it's pretty close to a 1/4 of a mile, but the hill gets your heart going. Anyhow, thanks again for stopping by
