This page used to be called "Confessions of a Sugarholic". For years I let my addiction to sugar keep my from reaching my weightloss goals. I have learned to enjoy sweets and treats in small portions without going overboard so I have changed my name to the BRICKHOUSE Project.
I used to have a nice figure. Somehow I stopped caring about my body because, in the past, I didn't have to work to look good. I considered myself to be a "brick house" according to the old song. After having children and allowing stress eating to dominate my daily habits, I gained a SIGNIFICANT ammount of weight. Over 100 pounds! So this former "brick house" had turned into a HOUSE. I got my act together through doing P90X.
I have lost 29 pounds, but I still have a long way to go. I am learning to take things one day at a time and am building habits that will lead me to a healthier tomorrow. I am so happy to be in this mindset. It is like a whole new me! I cannot wait until my transformation is complete! Right now I am doing Turbo Fire. I'm in my 2nd week and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!
