Fabulous Forties

Time to see what I can accomplish before summer arrives! I will be following the South Beach diet (my favorite "go to" program) and a regular exercise program. I hope to lose 40-50 pounds before the end of June.

Long Term Goals:

Have a Healthy BMI number.

Weigh between 145 - 155 lbs.







My Program:
I intend to do cardio 4 or more times a week, using my elliptical, treadmill, and Beachbody programs. May 2013, I began using the ChaLEAN Extreme series and also added IDEALSHAKES from Idealshape into my diet, which is a yummy way to get some protein. The ChaLEAN dvd's use a lot of weights, which I've never done before but since I'm about to turn 40 I figure I had better start, since muscle loss is now a concern for me due to my age.

Personal Information:
I've lived in Oregon all of my life. I've got the best husband on the planet. We've been happily married for 17 years and we have 1 daughter. I work full-time as an administrative office clerk for a school and I get to be home for the summer when school is out. I'm fortunate to have a very happy life with a husband who loves me unconditionally.

Other Information:
My family is very active. We are always camping and/or boating in the fall, summer, & spring. We love watersports! Water skiing, wake boarding and kneeboarding are summer activities we enjoy. My husband & I love to golf, but never seem to have the time. We also like snow skiing/boarding, but rarely get to do it. I work full time during the school year and I have summers off to enjoy with my daughter and husband. I'm so blessed!
