Welcome, Jan, and thanks for your note on my blog! This kind of dialogue is what makes SparkPeople such an ongoing classroom of self-improvement.
What you describe was part of my experience, too: the little head games that convince you that, gee, maybe THIS is my goal weight, maybe THIS is the only weight I'm capable of achieving and thus should be my goal.
Now I've finally figured out exactly what I want my goal weight to be, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
