Hello everyone. I used SP to help me lose 50 pounds about 5 yrs ago. I worked hard, and did it the right way, and maintained that weight for three years. Then, I decided to go back to school, and it was harder to have as much time to plan and cook meals and work out. I gained a little weight, but nothing I was uncomfortable with. This past fall, though, I have transfered to a more traditional four-year university, which offers very little in online classes. Now that I have to go to a classroom (actually several) everyday, I have even less time in my day. In the past year, I have gained back everything I had lost, and more. But I cannot live with this lifestyle anymore. I am going to this school to become a preschool teacher, and I am concerned that I will not be fit enough to keep up with the children I will be teaching. So I am determined to lose this extra weight by my graduation in 2 years. I know it will be hard, but I also know I can do it. After all, I've already done it once. :P

Hi There!

Welcome back to Spark! I have a similar story. I lost 100 pounds a few years ago and then slowly regained half of it when my lifestyle changed. So...I'm back at it, just like you!

We have a few other things in common, I see: My hubby and I are also animal lovers and have 4 cats and a little doggy; all rescues. No human children, alas.

I am also a Harry Potter fan! I'm on a private Spark Team called Hogwarts. We're in-between terms right now, but will be doing a grand sorting after the summer for our fall 2012 term.
