Starting afresh with my new attitude!

So I was one of those start and stop people on working out and keeping healthy. I saw health as being thin only. Recently, I have had a change in attitude. I am no longer going to make weight my main focus. I will be focusing on being healthy. Which will include working out regularly, eating healthier, staying hydrated, and improving my mood. :)

My Goals:
1. To not focus on weight only.
2. To work out at least 6 days a week.
3. To drink 8 cups of water a day.
4. To eat healthier by adding better snacks.
5. To learn more about how be healthier.
6. To participate more in my Spark Team forums and challenges.
7. To sleep better.

My Program:
So far, I have combined 4 different workouts to do during the week. And when I feel like I can do more I up the time I do the workout. I make sure that I get back to working out as soon as I can as long as I'm not extremely exhausted. I have been trying to post in the forums every few days. I have been reading a lot of articles here on Sparkpeople. I have also been eating more fruit and yogurt for snacks. To sleep better I have been keeping track of my sleeping habits and seeing what I need to change. For my water intake I have a water bottle that I take everywhere so I will remember to drink it.

My name is Rose. I am married and I have a daughter who is almost three.

Other Information:
I like to watch Markiplier on YouTube. I don't really watch TV that often. I am also starting to volunteer more which is really fulfilling. :)

I look forward to getting to know you too! Let me know how I can support and encourage you. I find the more people we surround ourselves with, the easier it is to stay on track. There always seems to be someone there to encourage you just when you need it! Your little girl is beautiful! You can definitely get the weight off, just set some reasonable goals and don't give up!

I used to try lots of things, but when I finally picked a few things to do, and stick with, I made much more progress. Reach out to lots of people on Spark - it really makes a difference. Spend time each day reading blogs and articles and posting to the trackers - think of it like a class on getting healthier and stronger. Take care! emoticon
