Yes, breakfast was lovely. I still have some pumpkin pancake mix from Trader Joe's and thought that would be fun along with a bit of scrambled eggs and chicken sausage. I love having a nice breakfast on Sundays!

Our day has been just delightful. Daisy and I sat outside for about an hour this afternoon while I read and she watched for squirrels, rabbits and birds. But it will be awhile before we can do any kind of swimming - that sounds just wonderful!

Enjoy your evening - sounds about the same as mine only I'll probably knit while I watch TV!

In 2001 we had 2 kids get married a month apart and the Minnesota River had flooded for about 6 weeks making the wedding guests try to work their way around the mess. I fear this is going to happen again this yr. when it begins to melt. A fast melt and flood!! At least we can now get over the river through the Shakopee new bridge! Last flood was the Bloomington Ferry Bridge as our shortest route to Shakopee!! I hadn't heard about the weekend snow again but had heard about Weds. May not get home until July!! (LOL)

I was planning on going up to the gym this evening for a sample class but there's no way I'm leaving this house until all the snow stops. I just saw a post from Channel 5 that we have now reached the most snowfall in April since they've been keeping records. This is crazy! But I'm having a quiet relaxing day watching some movies on TV and getting some knitting done. I'm just thankful I'm not out there!

Our son moved to Carver in August in their new home. He called this evening and had 3 foot drifts in his and the neighborhood driveways. A plow came through and dumped most the street snow on the neighbors across the street and he said they could hardly see the house. It started with rain and ice there too. Not real anxious to hit the roads. He told us to stay another couple weeks for sure! Boy, what a strange year!
