Retaking Me

I am now a long-term substitute, teaching middle school Language Arts, among other things. I'm still single-momming it with the almost 10 year old during the weeks. Hubby only comes every other weekend or so. He's getting more burned out. I'm getting more stressed and feeling less capable and they've already told me I won't have this job next year.

I hear you. I went through that every deployment when mine were younger. My fear is that I am going to find a job I really like and the Army is going to relocate us again, so I may not be trying as hard as I could. Good luck on your interview next week!

I keep trying to move along on the job front, this hurry up and wait is driving me nuts though! I have until the end of the month to find a job in the field I like/trained for before I am going to have to be less picky. It wont be much fun trying to fit interviews in around a part time job at a low wage place...

I'm working it as much as I can, scale has gone in the wrong direction for too long and with no school/job right now I don't have any excuses!

Hi Franc! Just checking in. I need to get back on track and that always makes me think of the Geckos!

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.
