"Christ died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf...Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them." 2 ...

If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed... If you continue in My Word... you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." - Jesus, The Gospel of John, from chapter 8:31-36
My 5oo Day plan is described in two blogs (copy-paste links) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_j ournal_individual.asp?blog_id=5251236
"It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. . . For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. . . the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." - Galatians 5:1,13,22,23
"There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free . . . " - Romans 8:1,2a
"Not that I have already obtained it or already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. . . . one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians3:12-14
"If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. So then we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh...For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, 'Abba! Father!' "
"Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the Lord." Psalm 31:24
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD And whose trust is the LORD. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, That extends its roots by a stream And will not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought Nor cease to yield fruit." Jeremiah 17:7,8 (2011 personal focus verse)
Psalm 16:10 " Lord, You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy."

Looks like it's been more than a year since there was action here. I was going through old emails and found one I sent to you about the No S diet not long after I had committed to it. That was in January of 2010. I'm coming up on six years. I lost weight each year, not all at once, but I'm down to near the lowest weight of my adult life. It's definitely a lifestyle, with mostly moderate eating and some normal overages, like normal BMI weight people do!
