WELCOME TO FROMTHISPOINT!

I began my journey here at my lifetime highest weight of 216 pounds. Diets, inactivity and my love of good food have had its way with my once athletic body. I have lost weight before on various programs and they all worked. Unfortunately, I lost weight but I did not change my lifestyle. Old patterns crept back into my life and the new ones were pushed aside.

I completed treatment for breast cancer and to lessen the risk of recurrence, I must get this weight off permanently. ...

I completed treatment for breast cancer and to lessen the risk of recurrence, I must get this weight off permanently. I have been taking Femara since June 2012 and I have a lot of side effects including arthritis and anxiety. As a result of the pain associated with the arthritis, I do not like to workout. I know that physical exercise will help with anxiety and arthritis so I will start slow and increase over time.

With the help of Spark People, I am hopeful that I can reach my goal of losing 86 pounds.

My Goals:
1) Eat Healthier
2) MOVE DAILY
3) Increase Protein
4) Non Food Rewards
5) Ask for help
6) Work up to minimum of 40 minutes of exercise 6 days a week
7) I have to stop walking miles for people that wouldn't cross the street for me.

My Program:
6,000 steps a day

Exercise while watching TV

6-9 fresh fruit/veggies daily

8 cups of water a day

Cut sodium intake
