I'm starting over from scratch on my health and fitness goals with sparkpeople.

Restarted on 1/29/2014 with the intention to see this through to the end this time. I don't want to let another year slip by without getting my health and fitness in check. I've wasted so much time starting over time and again, I want to live my life to the fullest NOW.

My Goals:
Calendar Goals
January 2014: 10 workout days total - met. 268 minutes total. 14 miles total. No food tracking.
February 2014 - 12 workout days, each workout at least 30 minutes. Track all food every day even if it's over.
March 2014 - 14 workout days, each workout at least 30 min. Keep tracking all food (even if it's over calories). Add weights to one workout per week. Try to build up to walking 2 miles on concrete or track surface.

My Program:
I am training to walk a 5k in May 2014. I know I can walk 3 miles at a time I just haven't done it for a couple years. I have never done an "official" 5k so it's a really good excuse to get moving.

Personal Information:
I love to read. I love animals. I'm pretty nerdy, I like TV shows and video games and movies. I have a fantastic husband who has loved me the same no matter what size I am.

We all seem to have to have to start over and over again. I'm in the same boat. Just don't stop. I know I'm not going to this time. Your on the right track and I know if I can do it then you can do it too! emoticon

I commented today you just have to keep taking shots at your goal. Don't quit. I finally realized at some point on my journey to achieve my health, fitness and weight loss, it was going to be a long trip. I was going to have to keep working at it . It might get easier. New habits form, but the old ones still linger , just waiting for me to quit so they can regain their place in my life.
