My Goals:
Calendar Goals
January 2014: 10 workout days total - met. 268 minutes total. 14 miles total. No food tracking.
February 2014 - 12 workout days, each workout at least 30 minutes. Track all food every day even if it's over.
March 2014 - 14 workout days, each workout at least 30 min. Keep tracking all food (even if it's over calories). Add weights to one workout per week. Try to build up to walking 2 miles on concrete or track surface.

My Program:
I am training to walk a 5k in May 2014. I know I can walk 3 miles at a time I just haven't done it for a couple years. I have never done an "official" 5k so it's a really good excuse to get moving.

Personal Information:
I love to read. I love animals. I'm pretty nerdy, I like TV shows and video games and movies. I have a fantastic husband who has loved me the same no matter what size I am.

Other Information:

I have a fitbit flex. I love it. I am not sure how accurate it is but at the very least its consistent so I know I did more today than yesterday. It is definitely motivating for me!

Honestly, to tell the truth, I did NOT like the color run at all. I didn't have a problem with my eyes, but the clouds of cornstarch made it hard to breathe, and I basically had to hold my breath during those parts. Then the stuff took FOREVER to clean off. My whole family did it, and when we got home, my three kids had to stay in this one tiny section by my front door that didn't have carpet, while my husband and I took half an hour to scrub all the stuff off us, then all three kids had to get into the shower together to scrub it off them. It got in my nose, in my ears, everywhere... I would gladly do a mud run again, but I will never do a color run again. It was beautiful, and VERY fun, but not worth it for me in the end. :/

The podcasts I love are Radiolab, The Moth, ThisAmericanLife, Freakanomics, Freshair, Stuff you should know. Some of them are just shows on NPR. If I had to only listen to one, it would be The Moth. It's storytelling in front of a live audience and Wow some of the stories just really stick with u. How have you been doing lately?
