My first Spark Trophies date back to 2009. I have had weight issues since childhood and I have tried many different diet plans that didn't last. Just like you, my yo-yo dieting has left me discouraged, frustrated, and feeling hopeless at times. I didn't start at my highest weight when I came to SP. Somehow I had managed to loose 25# on my own, but I was feeling stuck and needed some structure and support in order to move forward

Since 2009 I have continued the struggle. Some times on program and some times off. After all these years I have not lost hope of achieving my goal and so I remain a SP fan.

In 2013 I trained for my first 5K! It was the beginning of the end. My arthritic hips rebelled against running and I spent 2014 with multiple surgeries. I seemed to need a year off from the stresses of life after that, but by the start of 2016 I was raring to go again only to be set back once again when exercising caused a knee injury that I have been trying to overcome ever since.

I don't know were the rest of this year will lead me, but I will not give up on my goals!

My Goals:
My goal is to reach my ideal weight as determined by a formula which takes into account not only my height, but also my age.

NUTRITION:
1. I will follow no special diet, but make my food choices from healthy options. No foods are off limits, but food without nutrition should be kept to a minimum.

2. I will eat mindfully.

3. I will be diligent about limiting my consumption of alcohol with no more than 0-2 drinks at a time.

4. Using the Beck Solution and 100 DWL I will learn to think like a thin person.

FITNESS:
1. I will do some kind of exercise x 30 minutes 6 times per week.

2. I will develop a new fitness routine/schedule.

3. I will increase my Daily Steps to an average of 7000 .

WEIGHT LOSS:
I will reach my goal weight by December 31, 2016.

My Program:
Exercise Schedule:
Day 1 Yoga
Day 2 Walk
Day 3 ST
Day 4 Rest
Day 5 ST
Day 6 Cardio Jam
Day 7 Walk

Eat within SP calorie range.

Thanks so much for adding me as a Sparkfriend.

I have two knee replacements, and need ANOTHER one....your story could almost have been mine.

I also found so much in the Beck book, and have actually re-read it.

I look forward to watching your awesome progress!!

    Spark on.

Thank you for the goodie and the friend add. I've just added you back. The link to the calendar of tips is at the bottom of my post on Spark Guy's blog. I've included it here as well.

Hi Sue, nice to meet you. The 100 Days team page is quite busy at the moment - there is a group of people who are on Day 90 - which was our 'official' group which started on 1st August in order to bring us up to the 'holiday season'!

Another group of people have been clamouring to start - so they're beginning today with Day 1 (minimal support from me).

The next 'official' start will be 1st January - and you're welcome to 'lurk' until then!

I haven't read Beck myself, but I have read a lot of people's blogs about it - and it obviously works very well with Linda Spangle's material.

    See you around! emoticon

Pacific Trail is a great motivator. I am not showing many steps as I started exercising at the pool. You can start the 100 Days without the book.
