UPDATE: 8/12/13: This is the last time I begin again. No more stopping; no more backsliding. I may have a bad day, no, I will have a bad day, but as crappy as I feel now and remembering how good it felt to be strong and healthy and fit....nah, I'm not going back again. The scale is on the way down; the fitness level is on the way up and Bailee Graves is on her way back. Watch out world!!!

UPDATE: 11/24/12: I'll write much more in the days ahead. For now let's just say I'm back and ready to kick this thing once and for all!! Our internet service won't be restored until mid-week and I don't do this well on a phone so it will be hit and miss until then. But after out!!

Hi friends! Yes, it's me. Bailee_Graves but back as a whole new me for lots of reasons.

First I needed to decide to really get serious about meeting my goals. I had long since stopped using Spark for Spark purposes and had been using it more as a social network. The result was I wasn't losing the weight I needed to and I wasn't make the lifestyle changes I needed to.

I became too involved in posting witty blogs; gaining friends and being a Spark Motivator. I thought being popular on Spark would help me meet my goals and it really did just the opposite. It put up road blocks. If you were one of my friends, please know and don't interpret that to me I in ANY WAY blame you. It was my own fault for getting off track.

My hope and prayer is now that I'm back, I've got my mind in the right place and I can once again see the success I saw my first year on Spark.

NOW....let's get busy Sparking!

My Goals:
While I think overall we're all quick to say our goal is to get healthy and live a more active lifestyle....and that certainly is a major goal; my main objective is to lose weight. I've been the fat girl all my life and I just want those days to be behind me!

My Program:
We recently bought a Wii and have just a couple games that came with it but my hope is to buy a Wii Fit and use that. In addition I love to walk and will be doing that at lunch and in the evenings. Finally, my biggest weakness is strength training and I need to incorporate more of that into my fitness routine.

My name is Teresa. I live in the mountains of Western, NC and couldn't think of a better place to live. Except Ireland. Or Fiji!! I've been happily married (most of the time) for almost 29 years. We have 2 adult children and a beagle named Rebel. I'm a country girl at heart and would rather be in blue jeans and boots than in satin and pearls. I love Jesus, Elvis and Conway Twitty. I am my families number one fan and would do anything to make sure they're happy!

    The Tata Trot date has been set for next year. I may be only 5-6 weeks post partum but I can at least walk in it!!! emoticon I really really miss working out with you. I loved when we'd get together almost every evening & on the weekends to do workouts & healthy things.

    Sweetie! How are you? Firstly congratulations to you on the new addition to your family, you must be so thrilled! I hope you're doing well health wise. I read about your medical issues and it sounds like quite the struggle.

    So here's the deal, I've gone and sabotaged myself and I'm back to the weight I initially started at and so I'm back and ready to make a big difference in my recent habits and achieve the goals I made last time but this time with a better end result. I'm offering my services in motivating you, because I need your motivational words and friendship in doing this and although we're on different programs, we had a good vibe together when it came to motivation.
