For Italian musician Roberto Luti's soulful guitar licks, plus all the other great musicians from here-and-there around the world, here is that PlayingforChange piece:

Either go to YouTube and type in "Music Is My Ammunition, Playing For Change,"

or copy-and-paste
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl
ayer_embedded&v=dcLhrHHekC4
(making sure there is no space in "player" between "pl" and "ayer")

ENJOY!!!

Good Sunday morning!

Curious -- a San Francisco friend, a film aficionado of sorts, just sent me an email this morning about Blue Jasmine, a film that has escaped my radar. She said, "Maha, have you seen it? I was so looking forward to it and knew some of the storyline, but if I could, I'd take back seeing it. Though masterfully crafted and it's alot of fun to see SF, I was so disturbed by it." So now, noticing that as part of yesterday's lovely activities, you and L saw it, I'm curious about your take!

Oh, do tell! What class are you taking? Are you planning to take more? I will finish the BA in Spanish in Dec -- hallelujah! I gave some thought to going on for a Master's, but that sounds too much like work -- lol!

"I hear you about the Custis trail next to I-66. For me, the least pleasant part of the "Loop" is the stretch right next to National Airport where you are sandwiched between the airport and the George Washington Parkway. Not only is it a little loud, between the cars and the airport, but also there are a lot of aggressive bikers. Still, a lot better than biking among cars!"

You have a point about the part of the loop near National. Too many bikers there seem to have a sense of entitlement and feel the trail is there for them alone. Add to that walkers/runners who want to fill up the entire trail running two and three abreast, and that section can be downright unpleasant.
