Back again after 4 years...and getting better all the time!
By the time I returned to SP in December 2012 I once again needed more than ever to lose weight (again) and to get back in shape. At that time I needed to lose about 50 pounds and improve general physical conditioning. My ticker shows my progress since I returned. UPDATE: Completed the 5% Winter to Spring Challenge (results in 4/18/13 blog). Also, please read my blog posted on 2/16/13 for more about my journey back to SP. NEXT: Spring into Summer 5% Challenge - Awesome A team again!

My Goals:
Lose 50 pounds, start eating better, improve physical conditioning, be able to go hiking and other outdoor activities as well as keep up with my grandsons. Update: joined and completed the January Fitness Jumpstart Challenge. Update 3/2/13: Completed the February 28 day Bootcamp challenge. Completed the 5K for Rookies program, and ran my first official 5K on April 17, 2013. YES, it was ambitious, but I DID IT! Completed the Winter 5% Challenge on April 20, 2013. Update for the Spring into Summer 5% Challenge: My commitment for the 8 weeks is below:
My Program:
Fitness program: I will do cardio exercise 5 times per week, running, Zumba, or walking. I'll also continue with a strength training program 2-3 days per week, Iron Strength workout or Bootcamp videos. Other 5% Spring Commitments: I will follow my SP recommended diet, tracking all food eaten every day, and staying in ranges. I will record my daily exercise minutes and LTGL points for my Awesome A team. On Saturdays I will weigh in and record it. I will check in with my Awesome A team daily and leave a comment on the Discussion Board. I will read and comment on blogs as I have time.
Personal Information:
I live in South Florida, Eastern time zone, am married to a wonderful man, also a Sparker. Our daughter is married and lives about 4 hours drive away, with her husband, our 2 grandsons, and another on the way.
