    I saw your comment on PRNCSCUP1-2FULL's Spark Page. You may want to have a look at Reversing Diabetes, a Facebook group. Even if you decide not to do Dr. Westman's way of eating, there is a lot of valuable information for diabetics there.

    I too was told I would have to go on insulin if I didn't get my blood glucose readings down. I follow Dr. Eric Westman's low carb high fat way of eating and I am losing weight and the numbers are falling.

    There are a couple of groups there on Facebook with the same name. The group I recommend has three pictures on it. The picture in the middle will be of a woman holding a half of an avocado in front of her eye.

    I didn't exactly fall of the wagon, in so far that I did not eat too much or so.
    I'm just having a hard time getting back in the habit and routine of working out regularly all through the day.
    But today I did well. I started out with a long walk with the dog (almost an hour at a brisk pace). The temperature was comfortable enough and it did not feel too muggy even though more rain is expected. It was a pleasant walk.
    And I've been counting my steps inside also.
    Now I just need to get some strength exercises in. I've really been slacking there.

    Good luck. I know it is so hard but you can do this. Diabetes is very health destroying if you don't get it under control.
